In the recent progress of medicine and healthcare, biomarker and genomic medicine play significant roles, especially in the personalized medicine. In order to specify the scope and strengthen the impressions on the journal, Genomic Medicine, Biomarkers, and Health Sciences (GMBHS) officially changed the title to Biomarkers and Genomic Medicine (BGM) since 2013.

BGM is the official peer-reviewed publication of Taiwan Genomic Medicine and Biomarker Society, supported by Fooyin University Hospital, published quarterly by Elsevier, and indexed/abstracted in Chemical Abstracts Service, EMBASE, EMCARE, SCOPUS and ScienceDirect. This journal greatly welcomes papers of distinctive research on both basic medical science and translational applications in the fields of genomic medicine, biomarkers, cell signaling, biotechnology, pharmacogenomics and health sciences. In addition to invited review articles and original articles, the journal also welcomes papers in the form of short communications, case reports, letters to the editor, recommendations and commentaries.

The long-term supports and contributions from all the readers, authors, editors and reviewers are greatly appreciated. We will continue being devoted to making the BGM a high-quality journal publishing superior scholarly articles and sharing the latest information on the research and development of biomarkers and genomic medicine.
