Research on Product Innovative Design Method Driven by Client Demands

Based on the research on acquiring methods of client demands for product innovation development, apply system cluster analyses in modeling demands. In study of foundation of QFD and TRIZ, an integration process model is put forward for product innovation design of QFD and TRIZ. The model is developed taking in the advantages of both, which respond to client demands information effectively. The whole process is set up in structure and regularization, according with general process of human innovative thinking. And it has strong maneuverability as well.

The Innovative Design of Reciprocating Seal for Hydraulic Cylinder Based on TRIZ Evolution Theory

The design of reciprocating seal is extra important to the hydraulic cylinder’s performances at lower speed, sensitive, dynamic and static rigidity. Technology evolution of TRIZ provides the laws or prevailing lines of technology system evolution which a designer should follow to find the inventive solutions. To help a designer to get the innovative ideas in a short time by using TRIZ evolution theory and to make the innovative design process operable, a CAI software tool for gauging and positioning of the state of a system in relation to each law or line of technology system evolution is developed. It can draw the evolutionary potential radar plot of studied system automatically on the basis of evolution analysis. The innovative design of reciprocating seal for hydraulic cylinder is detailed according to the future possible development opportunities that evolutionary potential plot recommends.

Research on Development of Color Sorter Using TRIZ

Color Sorter has been widely used in crops further processing industries. And it has a broad market in China. Improving product quality or developing new products is very important for enterprises to keep technical advantages in market competitions. Technology evolution theory can forecast the future technology in products. It can guide a designer along the right direction of developing a new product. The solutions from contradictions solving give starting points to solve a problem. According to these solutions, the designer can detail the design using professional knowledge. This paper is organized as follows. Firstly, it proposes to integrate technology evolution and the design of Color Sorter and forecast the future technologies of the Color Sorter parts, such as the optical signal-collecting system and grooves. Secondly, using the contradiction and inventive principle, this paper proposes several solutions for improving the adjust method of background board.

Computer Aided Innovaton of Crankshafts Using Genetic Algorithms

In this paper a method is described for determining the design unbalance of crankshafts and also the recommended procedure for a balanced design strategy. The use of a search tool for solutions is suggested based on Genetic Algorithms (GA). GAs have been used in different applications, one of them is the optimization of geometric shapes, a relatively recent area with high research potential. The interest towards this field is growing, and it is anticipated that in the future mechanical engineering will be an area where many applications of shape optimization will be widely applied.

Development of a CAI System of Standard Solutions Based on TRIZ

Standard Solutions is a powerful tool based knowledge for quickly finding effective solutions to complex product design and production problems. As an independent part of TRIZ, it can be used to solve level three inventive problems in product design for innovation. Standard Solutions is usually used with Su-F Model at first step. The CAI system InventionTool was developed using an algorithm concerning Standards, different Standards were selected according various constraints. The development process of software supported by Object-Oriented method, VC++ language and XML.

Study on Optimization of Stir Head for FSW Based on Genetic Algorithm

The shape selection of stir head is processed to Friction Stir Welding (FSW), and the mathematical model and constraints for the optimization of stir head are established, what is more, the multi-target optimization algorithm of stir head dimension based on genetic algorithm is presented. Utilizing this algorithm, an example of optimization is analyzed, and its optimized finite element modeling is given, at last the reasonable dimension parameters are obtained.

Realization of Intelligent Control for Roll Shape in Roll Grinder NC Machine

During the roll grinding process, it is difficult to attain a high rolling shapes and surface quantities for several factors such as the emery wheel abrasion. This paper puts forward a new Neural Networks intelligent error compensation algorithm to measure round error, which is based on the analysis of the causation of rolling shape. And it has an experiment to verify the algorithm further.

Application of Grey System Model to Thermal Error Modeling on Machine Tools

The basic principle and method of grey system model and its application in thermal error modeling on machine tools has been presented. How to utilize thermal error sequence surveyed to model and predict is discussed by adopting total data GM (1,1) model, new information GM(1,1) model and metabolic GM(1,1) model after function transform is brought forward to improve degree of smoothness of primary data sequence. Finally prediction precision of metabolic GM (1,1) model is 7.2% and 15.46% higher than those of new information GM (1,1) model and total data GM (1,1) model respectively. The comparison of the experiment’s results indicates the accuracy and robustness advantages of metabolic GM (1,1) model over other two models.

Intelligent Metal Powder Laser Forming System

Metal Power Laser Forming (MPLF) is a high precision and complicated process. The quality of the formed parts is affected by many parameters and may vary significantly during the laser forming process. In order to guarantee the stabilities of the process, a state-of-the-art intelligent MPLF system was developed in this paper. The intelligent system includes CNC system, energy supply and control system, powder delivering and control system, and realtime feedback control system. The established state-of-the-art apparatus and several metal parts formed by the MPLF system are presented in this paper.
