Resumen/Descripción – provisto por la editorial en inglés
The journal is devoted exclusively to the publication of original papers and review articles on biological and technological postharvest research. This includes the areas of postharvest storage, treatments and underpinning mechanisms, quality evaluation, packaging, handling and distribution of fresh food crops, but excluding research on grains and forage.Articles on the postharvest treatment of fresh products as affecting the eventual quality of processed product may be included, but articles on food processing will not be considered. Papers based on fundamental and interdisciplinary research will be particularly encouraged. These disciplines include genomics and molecular biology, entomology, plant physiology, plant pathology, chemistry, engineering, modelling, advanced technology and economics.
