Trakya University Journal of Natural Sciences started its life in June 2000 with the name “Trakya University Journal of Scientific Research, Series B Natural and Applied Sciences”. Prof.Dr. Ömer Zaim, who also played an important role and provided contribution during the foundation of the journal, served as the founder editor. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Asan became the second editor of the journal withe issue published in December 2002. The name of the journal was changed as “Trakya University Journal of Sciences in December 2003 and Dr. Yılmaz ÇAN became the new editor of the journal in December 2004, followed by Prof. Dr. Hilmi İbar who took the charge in the next issue in June 2005. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Cihan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mümin Şahin were the next two editors until Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seyfettin Dalgıç was charged as the new editor of the journal in June 2012 just after the journal was given its current name “Trakya University Journal of Natural Sciences”. Assist. Prof. Dr. Deniz Ağırseven was in duty as the editor for the issues in December 2012 and June 2013. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meral Fent was the editor by the issue in December 2013 until Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kadri Kıran was assigned as the recent editor in December 2015.
