The publication date of the first issue of Iran South Med J back to 1977. Iranian South Medical Journal is an national, open access, peer-reviewed, online scholarly publication and issued six times a year. Scope of this journal included different branches of medical sciences, basic and clinical sciences and health fiels particularly in the south of Iran and also north of the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea. Editorial board of the journal specializing in fields of basic and clinical medical sciences from all over the world. Monthly about 40 manuscripts will be reveived from authors that after proffessional review process, proper articles accepted and articles will be put in the print queue. This journal accepts Original Papers, Review Articles, Case Report, Book Review, letters to Editor, Response, and Short Communication articles mainly on prevalent disease especially in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea Region and the analysis of various regional problems.
