The journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It was founded by Francesco Pipino in the year 2000 and is an official journal of the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. The journal publishes original papers reporting basic research or clinical applications in the field of orthopaedic and traumatologic surgery, as well as technical notes, rapid communications, case reports, comments and letters to the Editor.
