Journal of Electrostatics
Resumen/Descripción – provisto por la editorial en inglés
The journal has the aim of disseminating knowledge of static electricity in its fundamental aspects, its useful applications and in its hazardous nature. In doing so, the journal intends to cover the interests of amongst others, physicists, chemical, electrical and aeronautical engineers, and those working in medicine, biology and meteorology.The scope of the journal includes:
Fundamentals:
• Materials (Adhesion, Surfaces and Interfaces, Charging, Electrical Conduction, Radiation Effects, Carrier Migration);
• Modelling (Field Computations);
• Electrical Discharges (Energy, Dynamics).
Applications:
• Reprographics (Imaging, Printing);
• Coating (Painting, Floccing, Powder Coating);
• Environment (Precipitation, Pollution Control);
• Bio-technology (Cell Manipulation, Cell Fusion, Process Control, Diagnostics);
• Micro-engineering (Micromotors, Accelerometers);
• Space (Spacecraft Charging, Microgravity).
Hazards and Problems:
• (Particulate Contamination, Electronics Damage, Ignition and Explosion, Adhesion).
Types of contributions include reviews, full-length papers and short communications. Whenever possible, short communications are published more rapidly than normal papers. All papers and short communications are refereed by members of the Panel of Referees.
