Therapeutic Advances in Vaccines and Immunotherapy delivers the highest quality peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and scholarly comment relating to advances in the fields of vaccinology and immunotherapy. It is now recognised that the immune response can be manipulated in a plethora of different ways that can ultimately deliver therapeutic output for infectious disease, chronic disease and cancer in patients. As such, there has been a recent explosion of research activity investigating different immunotherapeutic strategies, which has been driven in part by the successful impact of checkpoint inhibitors in hitherto treatment-resistant cancers such as melanomas. The journal covers all research relevant to the prospects of recovering a natural, or enhancing an induced, immune response, reporting on advances in vaccination (both prophylactic and therapeutic) as well as an ever-growing repertoire of other immunotherapeutic interventions.
