Dissertation sur les Principes des Mixtes Naturels
Samuel Cottereau Du Clos
Resumen/Descripción – provisto por la editorial en inglés
Samuel Cottereau Du Clos (1598-1685) is a little known figure in the history of science. He was born in Paris and worked there until his death, both as a chemist and as a physician to the French royal family. After the Royal Academy Sciences was founded in 1666, he established one of the first chemical laboratories and research programmes in France. In his 1677 Dissertation sur les mixtes naturels, Du Clos described his idea of chemistry as having both a mechanical and a symbolic explanation. The relatively short text was published in the original French by the Elzeviers of Amsterdam.Palabras clave – provistas por la editorial
