The future of flash in the mobile world
Richard Leggett; Weyert de Boer; Scott Janousek
Over the last few years, Flash Mobile has evolved significantly. From the first introduction of Pocket PC Flash on PDAs, to the more recent versions of Flash Lite on other portable devices such as handsets and portable media players, Flash has had an extraordinary impact on the current mobile landscape. This is true in several key areas, most notably casual games, user interfaces, mobile applications, and entertainment. A lot of this we have already discussed in this book. All of these areas have been met with great enthusiasm by both Flash users and other mobile professionals around the globe.
